Obama "hammers" McCain on the economy in his latest. I'm not sure if it's quite that powerful but it is an improvement over most of his previous ads. Aside from the recurring characters -- John McCain and George W. Bush -- the ad also brings in Carly Fiorina and Phil Gramm.
Can't wait for FactCheck to come out with clarifications about the ad and how Fiorina only got $21 million technically or that Gramm is officially no longer a part of the McCain campaign. Yeah, only $21 million is going to make people feel a lot more empathetic towards Fiorina and with "deregulation" fast becoming as common as Michael Phelp's gold medals, (OK, maybe not that common) Gramm's not a bad choice either.
Bonus fact: Fiorina is supposedly in the dog house over her recent comments and there are reports that the McCain camp has cancelled all her pending appearances. So, she may not be able to accuse people of sexism and elitism.
