A Palin Pattern?

There isn’t much information on Sarah Palin, a relative newcomer on the national scene. The media is in a state of frenzy, trying to uncover anything and everything they can lay their hands on about Palin. Some leads shape up to be major stories, other narratives fail due to a variety of reasons.

Politico explores one such fledgling narrative about Palin’s relationships with formerly close aides and allies who at some point fell out of favor with her.
Palin has unceremoniously ended relationships with an aide who was dating a family friend’s soon-to-be ex-wife, a campaign adviser whose mother-in-law fought Palin’s legislative agenda, a local political mentor who she felt represented the “old boys network,” a police chief who she said tried to intimidate her with “stern look[s]” and a state commissioner who refused to fire her sister’s ex-husband.
Of the five examples, only the last one seems worthy of any discussion. The others seem to be more personal and petty, to me. Either way, read the article and take what you will out of it. Maybe the examples put together do shed some light on Palin’s mode of operating, or her character. You be the judge.
