Obama Assassination Plot Foiled

Politico:

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says it has broken up a plot to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and shoot or decapitate 102 black people in a Tennessee murder spree.

In court records unsealed Monday, agents said they disrupted plans to rob a gun store and target an unnamed but predominantly African-American high school by two neo-Nazi skinheads.

Equating Obama and Terrorism

The latest in GOP hate-mongering:

Republicans have unleashed a blistering mailing against Barack Obama that invokes the 9/11 attacks with a disturbing image of a jumbo jet and a warning that the Democrat nominee isn't "who you think he is."

The attack flier reportedly has been landing in homes in Missouri and Virginia - two states that the Democrats have been working hard to convert to blue in November - in the last few days, according to Politico.com and Time magazine's "The Page" Web site.

In Chester, VA: Chesterfield County police are investigating the theft of a 4-by-8 Barack Obama for President sign from the home of 78-year-old Leroy C. McLaughlin, an African-American Baptist minister. The sign was replaced by a Confederate flag.
