About Time, Obama

Let’s leave aside the arguments about going negative or staying positive, or for that matter, the substance of the ad. A good ad needs to captivate people and get them to watch it. If it's bland and normal, people switch channels. There's no reason why Obama's all-American and normal life can't be wrapped in a package that demands attention. Instead, the Obama campaign has released a slew of sleep-inducing doozies. Until now, that is. Obama’s latest ad is good. The message is simple. The visuals are slick. It's entertaining. It's a big improvement.

Finally. The earlier ads really have been huge yawn inducers.
